About me:

I'm a freelance graphic designer living in Alberta with my boyfriend, my dog, and 2 cats. I'm on MySpace to meet and network with other creative types, and keep in touch with some old friends.
Some odds and ends:
My roommate and I were arrested once with the aid of a helicopter and 5 or 6 police cars and what seemed like 100 cops with drawn guns. It was a case of mistaken identity. True story. After an hour or so, they let us go without shooting us.
Once I was working at a convenience story, a guy came in and got a coffee. He came up to the counter, and I said, "Is that everything?" And he said, "No. It's just a cup of coffee."
I'm scared of heights. Terrified, really. But I love to fly. Weird.
The only time I ever went on a "real" vacation, I fell down the stairs at the hotel and sprained my ankle. The people at the hotel were very solicitous, afterwards I realized they were afraid I was going to sue them.
I've only ever owned 2 cars in my life. The first one stalled every time I turned left and the other was repossessed.
I sat behind Alice Cooper at the premiere of the movie "Casper" - I talked to him during intermission. I said, "Anyone ever tell you that you look JUST like Alice Cooper?" He said, "Yeah I get that a lot..."
I'm lousy with money - when I have it, I spend it. Then I don't have it anymore.
My dog is afraid of wine bottles and bubble wrap, but I can beat him over the head with a rolled up newspaper or chase him around the backyard with an axe and he thinks it's a game.
