hello!,State of Affairs (ourselves) are a four piece from Fife and Edinburgh, Scotland. We've been together for a fair whack now and have recently just finished some new tunes which hopefully will be out soon!. This year were all in the Capital so we can make musical and artistic leaps and bounds :) and maybe even some money to pay the rent so if your ever in the burgh come say hello!. Thanks again to everyone for your continued support, it's very much appreciated
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- one thing is for sure if State of Affairs are not playing better slots in the future, something is wrong with the music industry. They play an incredibly infectious mix of indie tinged punk, and were tight, with a genuine vibrancy that shined throughout the performance. State of Affairs see them now, you'll be paying a lot more to see them later."

you deserve more my man. fancy getting me into t as your guitar tech? i'm awfully good. are you competing against the verve for your stage time? haha unlucky. if i get along I'll definitely watch you boys though, as should everyone else. Another bad point (i don't know why im putting in bad points as there should only be good cos you're playing t!) is that you can't get hammered after your gig and then watch other bands. i'm going to find myself some tickets and support you boys. get folk to stand around the crowds with fliers telling people when your stage time is. My friends' band did that (little kicks) and packed out the tent
heyhey. thanks for the comment! but that shit ep didn't even get us into the tbreak gigs ;) that's ace you got in, i'll tell my mates that are going to make sure they see you, hopefully see you for a gig soon! dave and the hijacks
things are all good for us the now, just waiting on getting a track back which we look to release short run very soon (fingers crossed). hopefully see you boys soon!x
And so the result came our way...! Well done boys. Next stop, the world! Good shows coming up too... Might have another festival for you too... Will speak to you very soon. Keep up the work. M x
yeh been breaking in this shit that been hanging around for a while just managed to convince some fools to play it.Its cool that you guys are still a band. shits kicking off end of july, so maybe bit after if you want a gig swap im definately up for it, free room and board oh course xx
FRIDAY 6th JUNE IS THE LAST AMPBOX!! yep, its almost over.
we've played a lot of different takes on dance music over the months, but for the last one we wanted to book straight up party DJs that we knew would have the place jumping. we've been thinking about it a long time and done just that-
* ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD (Get Rude, London) * PRO-VINYLIST-KARIM (Rub-A-Dub, Glasgow) * JOHN M. J. FARRUGIA (Big Toes HiFi, Edinburgh)
Expect Baltimore Club, Ballie Funk, Hip-Hop, Bassline, Dancehall, Booty Bass, Electro Crunk, Ghetto Gutter House and other made up genres; and if all this isn't enough we're rolling in the Big Toes, 15k, badboy sound system for the occasion. If you've been down before you'll know what to expect, if not, come before you miss the chance. This is going to be one mother of a party.
aye that would be a sweet idea. Tom sold his fucking car and bought a 2 seater thingme which means we are totally goosed for gigs and such unless we hire vans lol. LAME. I'm a bit bored of playing the same songs all the time again. I want ANOTHER whole set change, which is ridiculous considering we did that about half a year ago....actually it was much longer ago so that's irrelevant. Will i push post comment? hmmm might as well
hey guys, how yous doing? we re playing at the greenside on friday if you's fancy a good piss up and some good tunes.
most of us have played along side you guys back in the day of school battle of the bands. glad to see yous are still going strong, and good luck for t break. but hope to see yous on friday tango in the attic
