State Of Isaac is a new angle for a band that has come from scratch, family and uneducated attempts at the industry. We plan to make this the take that takes. We hope you enjoy the music and feelings. God bless you as we learn together that we are all in the state of Isaac; we are unsure, yet willing.
After many years and sessions of hard decision making, FBN decided to call it quits with the direction we where headed. We've recently changed our direction, feeling, attention, angle, unerstanding, etc. along with our name. We've realized that FBN was just becoming what it was and nothing more. A rekindling process needed to be made. And thats exactly what we did.
The decision was in the works for as long as two years before the news was actually released; Jonny has journals full of sketches of the new name dating two years back. It's crazy, how much we fought against the idea but it just kept feeling like the right thing to do. And it came at a perfect time. We started writing new material and took it upon ourselves to be honest with ourselves about musicianship, performance, heart and the reality of God in our lives. The new material was beginning to prove itself different from all that Fire By Nite was ever about. It was just becoming more real and honest. It just wasn't sitting easy with FBN's roster. But the name "State Of Isaac" cradled the songs like a newborn and made it whole. It was obvious to all of us.

Hey guys. I saw you last Saturday at the Nite Lite. I was in one of the other bands. You guys are really talented and I dig the tunes. And you're really good on stage. Just wanted to say, what's up?
