They didn't give me much notice but thats Mackenzie, right? LOL Oh hey! I already took the pics to be printed lol! Some of them were soo freakin hilarious! And i loved the picture of us ... it was sooo cute..so yah, guess what? I do too, but I can't breathe, I can't sleep and my head is throbbing....I went to the Pharmacy last night and she hooked me up, so I hope with these meds I can get to feeling better. Jesus did well, didn't he? But how did he do it? How did he build such a huge church which, perhaps, may last for all eternity. What were his techniques and approaches to becoming so incredibly popular? Firstly, he understood the idea behind Messiah. Messiah was meant to be a Son of David. So, as such, he needed to emulate David in some ways. Remember, David was a man after God's own heart, and he loved the scriptures (psalm 1). Jesus based his religious approach on many of the ideas of David. Firstly, be very human, merciful, compassionate and approachable. But further, Jesus knew he had competition in the Rabbis, and he believed because of his faith in an approach to combat them. Jesus saw the Rabbinic hardness and, perhaps as his father Jacob would say about the Levites, let my soul not enter their assembly. Jesus knew if he could be a man of the people, and not a religious legalist, he could win souls. And he likely had in his mind Solomon's proverb 'He who win's souls is wise.' But, after emulating David, what did he need? He needed a Gospel. He needed a message which would inspire people and bring them hope. And so he studied scripture earnestly to nugget out those scriptural principles which would assist him in this task. And, learning them, he developed his OWN TORAH knowledge - his OWN WELL of knowledge, which has come to be known as the Gospel. Remember the proverb 'Dig your own wells.' Jesus dug his own spiritual wells, with huge Zeal, and with solid determination went off making disciples. He knew he had to be holy and legal - Israelites would except nothing else. And he knew he had to have practically the greatest knowledge of the Scriptures than any Rabbi, which is what he set about to learn. And was he full on.
