Stathis Chouliaris

About me:

He studied high level theoretical and harmony under the supervision of mr.Lolis in Ioannina and also counterpoint, fuga and composition supervised by mr.N.Papadimitriou in the Ionian university and the school of music of Corfu

He also studied classical guitar and piano. He specialized in electric guitar which is the object that he teachs. He also teach theoretical of European music in public primary schools

He work as a professional musician (electric guitar, song, orchestration) since 1989

In 1993 he founded the group "Schema" (which is still active).The group participated in hundreds of concerts around Greece and released the following 3 cds (on which he wrote and orchestrated the music):

1)"Come closer" 2003,

2)"Earth" 2004,

3)"Sick enjoyment" 2009

He also wrote a book conferring the title "22 songs"

He took part in tens of cds as a studio musician (electric guitar, voice and orchestrations)

He wrote the music for the K. Mourselas' theatrical play, which conferred the name "the aquarium" and was staged by the Theatre group of the University of Ioannina in 1995 and the E.Trivizas' theatrical play for children named "the scarecrow's dream"

His song called "Misunderstanding" was chosen, awarded and performed by the Orchestra of Colours in 6 and 7 of September of 2004 in the "Megaron Mousikis(OMMA)",as part of a musical performance related to the special Olympics

Finally his musical work "deep blue" was rewarded in the 4th international composition competition of Volos in September of 2006.
