Gli Static Pain nascono nel 2002 a Latina. L’idea del gruppo viene fuori da Giovanni e Denis , bassista e chitarrista, che sui banchi di scuola, condividendo gli stessi gusti musicali decidono di ricercare altri componenti per completare la formazione. Successivamente vengono reclutati alla voce Emanuele e alla batteria Danilo. In questa fase gli Static Pain iniziano a suonare le loro prime composizioni ispirati da band che seguono un filone musicale emergente quale il nu-metal, per caratterizzare maggiormente il sound decidono di cercare un altro chitarrista, la ricerca finisce nel 2003 quando incontrano Andrea, letteralmente fuori di testa per questo tipo di sonorità. Stabilita la lineup i 5 iniziano a comporre materiale inedito, registrando le prime demo caratterizzate da un sound molto grezzo e aggressivo al tempo stesso. Aspetto fondamentale della band sono i live show dove il gruppo esprime tutta la sua energia contraddistinta da cattiveria, rabbia e denuncia verso le sfaccettature negative della vita. Nel 2008 con la registrazione di “Unknown” gli SP raggiungono un discreto livello di professionalità nel comporre ed incidere brani avendo dei riscontri positivi da parte di ascoltatori ed addetti ai lavori, tanto che una nota rivista hard’n’heavy nazionale definisce la band come un mix tra Korn e brutalità. Accrescendo l’esperienza nei live sono emersi nuovi stimoli che la band ha trasformato in emozioni musicali, testimoniate dal nuovo disco “Hemophilia” ultimo lavoro del gruppo datato 2010. ....
