Emilio Banda is a dynamic singer/songwriter based in Seattle Washington whose songs are always catchy and very POP! Emilio started his musical career with his band "Static Radio" in Seattle Washington.
The band recorded their debut "Clear The Airwaves" followed by the widely successful "New Rock Pop Sensation" at London Bridge studios in Seattle.
Emilio's sound comes from his roots as a HUGE Beatle fan as well as Elliott Smith, David Bowie and Death Cab for Cutie as influences. Emilio crafts his songs the way that many of his idols did giving them an almost classic sound. He deeply cares about his lyrics, how the whole songs makes you feel and always strives for a complete song. He took vocal lessons from Seattle's "Susan Carr" (Chris Cornell, Layne Staley etc.) and the results speak for themselves.
Static Radio has had major label interest and done showcases in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Chicago. Emilio has been highly praised for his songwriting!
Static Radio is currently in the market searching for the "Right" label to work with and make our dreams a reality.
