Since mid 2007, when five mates from the Northern Beaches formed Static Silhouettes, they have continually grown and developed as a band. Although they are still finding their feet, their passion for music is prominent throughout all their songs and performances.
We are currently recording our debut EP at Continuumusic which should be out late 2009, until then you can listen to our demos; recorded with Sony BMG in 2008.
Static Silhouettes have played such venues as The Gaelic Theatre, The Annandale Hotel, Manly Fisho's, The Stag, 34b & The Rising Tide Festival. They have shared stages with Bird Automatic, Kid Confucius, The Estate, Spun Rivals & The Spirits, among others...

Id be happy to lend a hand :) Cant wait to hear more from you guys :) xxxx
Hey guys, its a pleasure :) I really do love your music! I found you on Here Come The Birds profile, and i thought hmm they seem interesting (just by reading your name lol.), listend to your tunes and i loved them! It really sucks tho, all the really great bands like you and HCTB live in different countries! Im in England (From South africa orginally) and i never get to go to many gigs and stuff here because its all a bit sucky where i live haha. You would make my year if you came out to England! (hint hint haha :P) Hopefully i can work with bands like you guys after uni if i do a tech theatre course, which im hopefully going to do. :) haha. Cant wait for the EP to come out :) xxxx
