Station 55 Records is an independent record label, affiliated to Cristian Vogel's Barcelona based mix and mastering studio.
We aim to provide an essential platform for productions and music concepts, for artists and bands who are seeking to explore their own approaches to what they consider alternative and organic in the new music.
The imprint is the practical progression of Rise Robots Rise records, home to Super_Collider and others, which ceased to release in 2004.
The key approach for Station 55, is that of being primarily a studio with an associated label and publisher. This structure should make it more viable to host unique collaborations and experimental sessions, at a professional studio level, as well as giving a platform to our own contemporary ideas for production, mix or mastering.
Station 55 Records aims to survive within the current climate of fast-paced consumption and exotic tastes, to bring novel approaches to music creation and use.
