We Started jamming (Deans, Chi and Bry) in deans garage in the summer of 2004. Andy and Dez joined soon after and Statue of Misery were born. We have played around 10 gigs in Aberdeen, where we are all from and have so far 9 of our own songs.

Granite City Records is an Aberdeen based record label/promotions outfit with a simple aim... to bring more attention to the local music scene, not just from the media/music industry but from the regular music lover in the city who perhaps is unaware of what is going on in the city right now.
Our first release will be launched on Friday March 21st at Cafe Drummonds and will be a free compilation CD featuring what we believe is 16 of the finest bands in the area right now. We hope this will be the first of many gigs and releases from us in upcoming future.
