Drei Jahre nach Erscheinen des Debüt-Albums „Traumfänger“ steht ab 12. Oktober 2007 der zweite Staubkind-Longplayer „Zu Weit“ in den Plattenläden. Erneut erwarten einen 13 eingängige, gitarrenlastige Rocksongs mit bewegenden, deutschen Texten, welche das ehrlich erzählte Gefühl in den Mittelpunkt stellen und direkt an den Hörer weitergeben können. Somit wird der mit dem Debüt eingeschlagene Weg auf „Zu Weit“ konsequent fortgesetzt. Die Songs beschreiben vor allem Gefühle und Empfindungen, die jeder in sich selbst entdecken und nachvollziehen kann. Dabei vereint das Album treibende Tracks wie „Königin“ oder auch „Wunderschön“ mit traurig-balladesken Stücken wie „Zu Weit“ oder „Letzter Tag“. Besondere Highlights des Albums sind außerdem das Duett „Wenn Du Schläfst“ und das Akustik-Stück „Vergiss Nicht“. Beide Songs sind Ergebnisse der Zusammenarbeit mit Carsten Klatte (Lacasa del Cid, Gitarrist von Project Pitchfork, Wolfsheim u.a.) und der Sängerin und Schauspielerin Serena Gruß. Der seit 2001 bei Terminal Choice tätige Gitarrist Louis Manke machte 2003 mit der Gründung seines Soloprojekts Staubkind zum ersten Mal mit eigenem musikalischen Wirken auf sich aufmerksam. Mit dem im Frühjahr 2004 beim Chris Pohl-Label Fear Section erschienenen Debüt-Album „Traumfänger“ schaffte es Louis Manke, sich als Solo-Künstler zu etablieren und spielte sich im Rahmen des 13. Wave Gotik Treffens und der darauffolgenden eigenen Tour im Herbst 2004 in die Herzen vieler Fans. 2005 wurde das zwischenzeitlich ausverkaufte Debüt-Album mit komplett neuem Artwork und Bonustracks wiederveröffentlicht und konnte auf zahlreichen Festivals wie z.B. dem Wave Gotik Treffen, dem Woodstage- und dem Amphi-Festival oder auch dem M’era Luna präsentiert werden. Pünktlich zur zweiten Headliner-Tour im Herbst 2005 erschien die Maxi „Ausgebrannt“. Nachdem das Jahr 2006 vor allem im Zeichen der Arbeit an neuen Songs für das nun erscheinende Album stand, wird Louis Manke zusammen mit seiner Band und dem neuen Longplayer „Zu Weit“ im Rahmen der dritten Headliner-Tour im November 2007 sein Publikum einladen, für ein paar Augenblicke dem Alltag zu entfliehen.



Staubkind " Zu Weit"

Three years after the debut album „Traumfänger“ was published there will be the second longplayer in the stores on October 12th 2007. Again you can expect 13 catchy, guitar dominated rocksongs with emotional, German lyrics, which put the honestly told feelings into the centre of attraction and are able to transport them directly to the listener. With the debut the way of Staubkind was chosen and with “Zu Weit” it will be continued. The songs especially describe feelings and emotions which can be found in everyone of us and which are known to everyone. The album mixes driving tracks like “Königin” or “Wunderschön” with sad ballads like “Zu Weit” or “Letzter Tag”. Highlights of the album are the duet “Wenn Du Schläfst” and the acustic song “Vergiss Nicht”, too. Both of them are results of the collaboration with Carsten Klatte (Lacasa Del Cid, guitarist for Project Pitchfork, Wolfsheim etc.) and the singer and actress Serena Gruß. Since 2001 the guitarist Louis Manke has been playing for Terminal Choice and called the people’s attention to his own work first in 2003 by founding his soloproject Staubkind. By publishing his debut album “Traumfänger” on the label of Chris Pohl – Fear Section – Louis Manke reached the state of a solo artist and achieved lots of sympathies during the following live concerts at the 13th Wave Gotik Treffen, also at the first headliner tour in autumn 2004. In 2005 the in between sold out first album was re-released with completely new artwork and bonustracks and was presented live on many festivals like the Wave Gotik Treffen, the Woodstage- and the Amphi-Festival or the M’era Luna. On time of the second headliner tour in autumn 2005 the MCD “Ausgebrannt” appeared. After the year of 2006 above all has been a year of working on the new material for the upcoming album Louis Manke, his band and finally the new record “Zu Weit” will invite their audience to escape from their everyday life on the third tour in November 2007.
