Stay at Home Ramblers began with Morgan and Rosie being dragged off their front porch to play the odd bar or basement show in June 2006. Later that summer, Charlie joined the line-up on mandolin, and in summer 2007, Zeke joined up on the upright bass. Though we are lazy and, like our name, tend to stay at home, we love to play out and are gearing up to start doing so more regularly. Our sets are a melange of bluegrass and old-time, with the very occasional original tune thrown in, played with varying degrees of competency depending on how much whiskey we've had that night.
