The StaySick Club started life for 2 reasons, 1 to fund Gunfire Dance's activities and 2, just to get the party started. We wanted place where we could hear great rock'n'roll, hence the name borrowed from The Cramps album. Put it this way, if you don't get the spirit and legacy of The Cramps then you wouldn't get the club.
When GFD called it a day and the pressures were off the ashes went on and formed Steppin' Razors, whilst part of the StaySick team dabbled with promoting bands under the guises of WiseBlood Promotions and Club Sin&Tonic.
In 1998, with The Foundry as its base, StaySick started its irregular promoting run only coming to a temporary halt when Agents and VAT got in the way.
Now that the heat is off the Garage scene in terms of corporate popularity, it doesn't mean that there aren't some great R'n'R bands around.......So thats why were back and putting a few shows together, call it itchy feet or just giving the the other guys in town a brake.

Just to inform you of two important "happenings" in our own little world:
Firstly.....we release our debut single "The Contessa" / "Snake Charmer" on Sept 26 at, curiously, the celebration/launch shindig for our debut album in central London.
Copies of the ltd edition single will be available on the night at Crossfire 14 held at 229 The Venue in Gt. Portland Street, London (opposite Regent's Park) with the DCs on stage around 10pm followed by a blistering all-niter...
And.....this is our next BIRMINGHAM gig....coming up on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER12th @ the Sound Bar....hope you can make it:
Also we play a small home-town show in Tamworth on Sunday September 13 @ Bullit (about 9pm we think)....
