Bio
Casually Spinning & Promoting Since 1992....... The StaySick Club started life for 2 reasons, 1 to fund Gunfire Dance's activities and 2, just to get the party started. We wanted place where we could hear great rock'n'roll, hence the name borrowed from The Cramps album. Put it this way, if you don't get the spirit and legacy of The Cramps then you wouldn't get the club. When GFD called it a day and the pressures were off the ashes went on and formed Steppin' Razors, whilst part of the StaySick team dabbled with promoting bands under the guises of WiseBlood Promotions and Club Sin&Tonic. In 1998, with The Foundry as its base, StaySick started its irregular promoting run only coming to a temporary halt when Agents and VAT got in the way. Now that the heat is off the Garage scene in terms of corporate popularity, it doesn't mean that there aren't some great R'n'R bands around.......So thats why were back and putting a few shows together, call it itchy feet or just giving the the other guys in town a brake. Here's a list of most of the bands we promoted:- CeeBee Beaumont/ The Strip Kings/ The D4/ Petit Vodo/ Los Nachos/ Steppin' Razors/ The Horsefethers/ The Arousers/ Drugstore Cowboys/ TV21 / AquaVista/ ClamBake/ Penthouse/ Mika Bomb/ Hoggboy/ Monkey Island/ Green Hornets/ Flaming Stars/ Electrocuting Elvis/ 54 Nude Honey's/ The BigBang/ Fuhrers/ Action Time/ BangTwister/ The X-Rays/ Silverco/ Big Boss Man/ Stewed/Jim Jones Revue/The Jooks Of Kent/Vinny & the Curse/The Hip Priests/The Rivers Presley Set.........Sorry if We missed you out. The tunes on the player are from bands not otherwise on myspace......but that doesn't stop them sounding great............Still. -
