Stay the Stranger bursts from the earth with high-intensity, deep-seeded rock and roll! Their origins can be traced to ground-breaking bands such as Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots and Guns ‘n’ Roses! We can throw you through the meat grinder of fast-kicking, rock and roll mayhem with songs like ‘Someone to Step On”, open your eyes to the world we live in with “Let It Go,” or “Look Around”, or reduce you to a seduced puddle with “Innocent Little Changes.” There’s no match for the omnipotent rock power of the four-piece Stay The Stranger, but if for some reason you don’t believe us, we’ll prove it. Keep an eye out for the debut album, “Evolver” hitting shelves soon.
DREW WILSON - VOCALS
Drew hails Wichita, Kansas and brings powerful, early-alternative rock vocals to Stay the Stranger. Whether he's serenading or breaking the walls down, he's putting full-blown energy into the music and writing lyrics that suck you in.
JOSH CROOK - GUITARIST
Josh started Stay the Stranger with a small flier posted up at tarpley's music, which spawned (slowly but surely) the band that's together today. With an influence from early rock guitarists like McCready, the legendary Slash, Tom Morello, and Thayil, he has a vast threshold for solid alternative rock and roll.
JD MOORE - BASS
JD comes from a strong, blue/jazz background, a place where the bass is a dominant force in the music, driving it one way or the other. This same kind of power and influence is brought into the band, giving Stay the Stranger a different sort of appeal than the common single string, single note, follow-the-leader bass playing seen in most modern rock. He makes the bass it's own entity entirely.
DAN LEE - DRUMS
Dan Lee is a jack of all trades, able to play just about anything. In Stay the Stranger, you'll see a strong background and adaptation to modern day metal, with a thundering double bass drum, or flawless, always well placed rolls and fills that set him apart from others. His rhythmic, driving force is never overshadowed.
You guys ROCK!!! I wish I could see you guys live again. But anyways I think I deserve to be on your top friends more than Tom considering I've been to every show lol. Take care and God bless.

No matter how strong his shield is or how sharp his sword, the bleeding cannot be prevented, and the hurt will never be concealed. For the wound of the body can be healed but the wound of the heart will forever leave a scar that will remind him of a battle never won." -abandonedhope
I've got to admit, that was a pretty creative comment from you. I'm impressed. Me? Unique? I can probably say the same about you. :) Keep doing your thing! You'll make it big one day, and don't you forget the little people.
Oh, I like soft music sometimes. ;) As long as you keep it rock.
Indeed. Bless beer. And bless you. You will adjust your sound and you will find your audience. Don't put yourself in labels. Instead, seek to create your label. You guys are talented, but I think you need to find yourselves outside of what the music industry wants. Those guys are fucking retarded. I mean look at the stories of Jesus in the wilderness or John the Baptist. I love your songs and I think you have so much potential... if you just started to think outside of the box. I mean... I really don't know anything... but I do know what will sell and what won't. Part of the saintly sixth sense and partly from my work in retail and my brains... my smarts... and my noggin. Keep up the good work. I really mean that. And can I say that you are the first band who has sent a friend request who had a singer who was actually good. I was pleasantly surprised. :: throws down a smoke bomb and disappears :: Is that what saints do?
Oh cool, thanks guys, but it's just me though, I don't have a band right now. I'm in the process of moving to portales, hopefully i'll be fully moved in by may and start up music school, and hopefully learn something and start a band
