"Seize the day".......that is the mantra that Minneapolis alt/rock band Stealing Seconds tries to live by. Maybe seizing moments might be a more appropriate measure of time. Whether it be crafting a song, or pumping out a high energy rock show, the band tries to make every second count by stealing back the moments that might otherwise be wasted. Already in the band's young existance they have been chosen as one of the top 12 bands in the Twin Cities and particpated in the prestigious Bascilica Block Party band competition. They have landed opening slots for national recordings artists Marcy Playground and Vertical Horizon as well as frequently supporting some of the midwest's most popular acts including GB Leighton and Tim Mahoney. They have also been showcased on.the local NBC affiliate, KARE 11 TV.

Blood Root Mother	Dec 10 2009 6:44 AM Hello!! If you're around on Thursday, December 10th, we are playing a FREE show at Mario's Keller Bar. I don't know if you've been there, but it's a very cool place. It's a comfortable space, the room sounds great and they have a stellar beer selection. Also, we will be playing ALL NIGHT! We'll play some funky, bluesy, and soulful music. We'll project live video onto a 9 ft screen. We'll play some older material that hasn't been heard in awhile, as well as some brand new songs that've never been heard. All bets are off!! We'd love it if you'd come down and listen/party with us!
