Description of "Community Night":
One night a week where youth can come and just lay out their hearts and share with one another what's going on in their lives. Our group is faith based, but we never force our beliefs upon the kids. We receive them as they are. This is a place to encourage the teens and motivate them in a positive direction. The leaders are to choose a topic to discuss every week (with a few scriptures to positively enforce topic.) This is NOT a bible study, but we stand firmly planted in our beliefs. Leaders must be able to commit to at least an hour week for Community Night and a few hours extra a week to make yourself available to the youth in your city. Whether going to shows, hanging out at local hot spots, whatever it may be to spread the word and live a lifestyle that represents the message we spread.
We're really excited about spreading "Community Nights" across the country. Before that happens, we'd like to get to know the potential candidates.

Prior to choosing people in different cities to lead "Community Nights," we will have a handful SKYPE/Ichat/phone "interviews" (very casual) because I want to get to know each person individually before your chosen. I think that is appropriate, so if you wouldn't feel comfortable doing that, then this may not be for you.
We ask that you be at least 18 years of age, but if you're 17 and still feel very passionate about this cause, then we'll be willing to possibly work something out.
