Steamed Clams are a band of no specific genre. about us.
Over the past several Steamed Clams have been active in the local music scene gigging their crazy and slightly comical sets. They recorded and brought out an E.P and played at pubs as small as The Blue Lamp up to 500+ capicity venue's such as The Forum 28.
Throughout the band's history, they have always had fun and enjoyed playing to their loyal fans around the local area. We realised that Steamed Clams had been pushed as far as we could of taken it, and finished it off in style.
The TGM Awards 2009 is coming! The nominations have been announced for the sixth annual awards and we can confirm that Steamed Clams have 2 nominations, for:
* Best Alternative Act * Best Gig (w/Allerjen @ Barrow - Jan 09)

With a musician whose influences are so diverse, expect this session to draw in all kinds of music and be concerned with quality work, both in song writing and composition. *limited spaces still available*
A&R Panel Session / 6pm - 7.30pm
Faced with the shrinking profits, record labels are adopting a new approach. So do bands and artists now need to do the same? How do artists generate interest from record and publishing companies to begin with? What are the terms of a deal likely to be these days? This panel contains a broad cross-section of contemporary thought, on how artists can cultivate their own careers.
