Long-time favorite Milwaukee Irish/Celtic band The Steel Bonnets are back! There have been some personnel changes but they are back, stronger than ever. Randy Adams leads the band with his strong guitar work and expressive vocals. Tom Young returns as the steady hand on the bass guitar. Dan Brown anchors the sound with his unique hand-drum style on a customized drum kit. Dan Smars adds rhythm guitar and vocals. Added to this spicy hagis is the mandolin mastery of Dan "Miles" Mullen. This is the core of the new, rockin' sound of the Steel Bonnets. The band has played before a rain-soaked but hardy crowd at Irish Fest on Aug. 18, 2007, then followed that with gigs at the Washington Island Performing Arts Center (Aug. 25) and the Scottish Highland Games in Waukesha on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, 2007 and at the Grand Re-Opening of McBobs on Oct. 20, 2007.
