About me:

Steel Rod Tattoo is an Indianapolis based tattoo studio at 3710 Lafayette Rd, a 1/2 block south of 38th street. Steel Rod Tattoo is the only themed studio of its kind in the state, showcasing the era of the 1950's generation. State of the art tattoo and piercing booths including 20 inch HDTV's in each tattoo studio. Steel Rod Tattoo has the latest in flash art or let one of our artists design your perfect tattoo for you, we offer a full line of jewelry from rings, studs, barbells, micro dermals, skin divers and hard to find items, and if we don't have it, we will special order it for you. Take a trip back in time in our lobby, and look at the memorabilia that is showcased, take a seat on our 1959 Cadillac sofa or the 1956 Chevy sofa, play your favorite tunes from the 1950's to today's current top hits on the Wurlitzer bubble jukebox.

Who I'd like to meet:

We are interested in meeting people who want to explore the art of tattooing and piercing, whether you are new to the scene or have been involved with tattoos or piercings and want to add some more artwork to your persona then we are your studio. Steel Rod Tattoo is open 6 days a week, Monday thru Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and Sundays we are closed except for appointments or private parties.
