His goal was to re-create - for today's audiences - the rocking, less-slick, grittier, Rhodes driven, analog sounds of the ’74 live Steely Dan touring band. He has succeeded. Steely Jam stands as the most fascinating, jammin’ example of a tribute performance there could ever be. But the excitement of Steely Jam must be seen. Run...don’t walk...to once again hear the exciting jazz pop sounds that filled America’s 70’s hi-fi systems.
