I practice a lot of sports: running, biking, kayaking, swimming, mountain biking, roller skating, rock climbing, trekking, motorcycling, adventure racing, triathlons, and marathons. With all that I have no time left to watch television. However, I like to rent a movie once in a while to relax. I also love to dance. I especially like latin dance. I also love to travel especially in developing countries and learn about other cultures. I traveled to several countries in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. More you see, more you realize you haven't seen anything. There is so much to discover and to do and so little time.

Movies
I like drama, action, and horror movies. I also watch a lot of foreign movies (subtitles don’t scare me). If a foreign movie makes it to the US, it’s usually because it’s really worth watching.
Television
I never watch TV, but I watch the TV series “24” and "Lost" on the internet. I am totally hooked on those two shows.
Books
I love to read non-fiction stories of survival. I also love mystery and adventure thrillers with a touch of science. You can see the list of the most recent books I read at: www.steevepomerleau.com/English/books.htm
I am French Canadian (my first language is French, but I'm also fluent in Spanish and of course English), originally from Quebec City (Canada), but I now live in Little Rock (Arkansas). I moved to Arkansas in 2000 to complete my master degree in Aquaculture at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. After graduation, I was hired by that same university to keep conducting research in catfish and baitfish culture. I decided to stay in Arkansas because I really love my job and the climate. Now I can ride my motorcycle and bicycle year round, it's great!
