Stefan Galt is one of Irelands finest up and coming young guitarists. With influences from blues, jazz, country, bluegrass and rock he likes to play it all, and has fused elememts of all these styles into his own music. He spent many years playing as part the instrumental group "Six Degrees" developing his writing talents and technique and has played as part of jazz ensembles and as accompaniment to singers. In 2008 he won the young guitarist competition in the Guitar Festival of Ireland. Stefan is currently playing solo concerts with the completion of his album "Before that I did this". He cites influence from such musicians as Tommy Emmanuel, Bela Fleck, Clive Carroll and jerrry Reed. Using his spectrum of influence he has created a unique writing style, which together with his outstanding technique never fails to capture his audience, this is a musician you will be hearing more and more of.
