Eva Cassidy was the first person who influenced me, and gave me a shove in the right direction :) Time after Time was the first song I ever performed in front of people, so that song means alot to me. She was a wonderful singer and her music is really laid back and brilliant to listen to.
I have had so much support from singer song writers like:
The Acoustic Project
Man Made Noise
Alex Hume
Luke Keegan... just to mention a few :)
The people that influence me and encourage me most are the people that truly believe in me and who have been so encouraging and amazing. This year i've met so many people who have been so supportive, so thankyou you all :)
Sounds Like
Some people say i sound a bit like Eva or Suzan Vega. They are amazing artists so thats great! I'd like to think I have my own sound though.

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
Tomorrow night: Lil Wyte, DJ Crumbz, & Above Only - Wednesdays just got better than the weekend! Join us at The Hard Rock on Beale Street!! Doors at 9pm/ 18 & up/ $5 to enter
