Born and raised in Florida, Stefanie had a strong family unit behind her. She learned to appreciate the hues and vivacity of all types of music, developing sensitivity to a diverse spectrum of music that would later stoke her thirst for creating her own. She first found her voice in the realms at the young age of three in choir, and later as a leading actress in musical theater in middle school. As one may notice from the evocative imagery she wields- music was always on the edge of her palette.
Her first EP released, SMERKS EP, raises your spirits to the full rich sounds heard. The EP reveals the maturity of Stefanie's acoustic influences that ground her wholehearted compassion beneath playful pop adornments. Stefanie's music speaks to dreamers, artists, laborers, people- all of us alike. She strikes a chord with the root of humanity; poetically capturing the essence of our lives.

This is more than a line in one of Stefanie's songs; it is a statement of purpose in her life. Freeing herself with an open mind and an open heart, and boldly living as she chooses to.
Most of her songs are drawn from the things she has seen and the moments she's experienced, though she sees only the universality of it all. There is truth and meaning behind every word she writes.

Hey Stef! I have been living in Cancun Mexico for about a year now, and back and forth from MI and FL. Been singing with a couple local Rock bands (excellent musicians), have a blast! Some day I will get back to South FL is play some Open mics, like the good ol' days at Funky Buddha. Your music still sounds great! I still remember the man hater song, when i hear it I can sing right along! Funny suff! But all the new stuff sounds great too! Brian
