*Some things you may not know about me:
I am creating a little bit of Nashville in LA through my "songwriter rounds" each last Monday at OBriens Pub 2941 Main St Santa Monica where hit writers and the best emerging singers and songwriters play. I am working on organizing other rounds around LA and some of the people who have played are Alissa Moreno ("Everyday" Rascal Flatts); Shari Short ("This Is The Life" Hannah Montana-Miley Cyrus); Lindsay Vinarsky (Bug Windswept Music),Will Champlin, Jamie Meyers, and many more!
I was born in Houston Texas but have lived in Nashville,TN;New York City;Vienna,Austria, and now LA.
I wrote my first song entitled "Set It Free" at the age of 13 and began recording vocals.
I sang in church from the age of 4.
I come from a very loving family with parents who always encouraged me.
I am a dual citizen (America and EU- Italy)
I love to be surrounded by nature!! I have passion for causes that surround nature and animals. I believe that we are not here for ourselves and our own gain but to help lift up others and encourage those around us too.
I graduated from The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston and went on to study Music Business at Belmont University and obtained a BBA.
I have a Pro Tools music software certification so I can record my own vocals when I write with a producer. I write lyrics and melody (top line)

Welcome! I'm Stefani Scovolo...a pop recording artist writing for myself plus Tv/film , a songwriter writing for other artists, and a vocal session singer. I am not yet signed, I do not have a manager yet either. I am open to speaking with great people for great opportunities for my music. I am originally from Houston, Texas where I attended The High School for Performing and Visual Arts and then going on to study Music Business & Marketing receiving a degree from Belmont University in Nashville,TN where I spent 6 years. I have also lived in New York City and now am based in Los Angeles! I am known as a songwriter more recently for my songwriting for Teen pop artists and am trying to write for several right now on Jive Records,Hollywood Records, Interscope,and more. I have a knack at songwriting,recording vocals for Teen pop and pop rock. I write lyrics and melody plus I can record my own vocals into Protools and am familiar with the software. I write with various top producers around the world including Chris Landon (LA) who worked with Jennifer Paige; Mikal Blue (LA) who worked with Colbie Caillat; and have recently connected on cowriting with Jarl Aanestad (Norway) EMI Pub; Paolo Dughero (Italy) Warner Chappell;Phil Ogden (UK), several other LA based producers,songwriters, and possible collaborations with several other producer/writers around the world for Film/TV placements including AC Pop and Electro Pop which will enable me to show what I can do as a Recording Artist myself. I do vocals for hire and particularly get requested for Pop Rock and Teen Pop , but I can change my voice into a more mature sound as well depending on the needs. I can also sing with a twang if need be! Hey, Im from TX and TN! I am an *independent* artist and songwriter and have *not signed* any exclusive deals with any company or anyone yet. I have secured a few TV placements on my own with MTV, ABC Family, KTLA Channel 5, Nick. I recently met Brian Rawlings who was VP Music Publishing at Walt Disney Company and now has a very innovative company. I was at the West Coast Songwriters Conference and he heard my song "Where Do I Fit In" which impressed him and led to a great connection. I have been spoken about many times on www.meermusic.com on a radio show by some radio veterans and even Toni Cowell from American Idol. I am interested in knowing more experienced and also hit songwriters here in LA to build a better network here and build a stronger community. I miss that from Nashville. So, I started my own songwriter round called Stefani Scovolo Songwriter Round. So far I have had great talent playing such as Alissa Moreno ("Everyday" Rascal Flatts cowritten with Jeffrey Steele), Shari Short ("This Is The Life" Hannah Montana on her show), Lindsay Vinarsky (Bug Windswept Music), Tim Fagan (cowrites with Colbie Caillat,John Mayer),Will Champlin, and more!! I am organizing the whole thing myself and you can find dates listed here on my page. Come out and see me! I book the best talent in LA in a Nashville style songwriter round.
