I started to study music when I was 5 years old. First I was playing piano. Later, at the age of 9, I started to play clarinet. I was in love with it from the very first note I produced on it.
Many good moments passed since then. I was playing many different kind music: classical, contemporary, jazz, klezmer, arabic, gipsy jazz, eastern-european folk, reggae, etc. with many good musicians. Was touring in Europe, and did recording with several bands. A few to mention: The Groove of the Nile (HdKdW, Berlin); Acoustic Rendez-vous (gipsy-jazz; performances with Bawo and Lulo Reinhardt); Los Amigos (Latvia, many top 1 hits, gold, platinum).
Now I am living in New York and at the moment am finishing working on my Master's in Music Performance.

A THOUGHT FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON ...
"My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?"
~ Bob Hope
MAY YOUR HEART BE FILLED WITH THE JOYOUS SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS ALL YEAR LONG!
Please stay in touch from time to time and let me know how you are!
Glad to get this request from you on MySpace, now that we've met up on the Musicians Page. I hope you enjoy listening to the several clarinet pieces up on the MySpace player. They include the 4 movements of "Morning Music" and the 8 movements from "An Ode to the Possibility of Peace." The clarinetist is Masayoshi Ubukata (Tokyo Philharmonic).
I see you're a Brooklynite, and so practically a neighbor - so I hope we'll have occasion to meet in person some day soon.
We are playing at the knitting factory at 74 Leonard St. New York City, NY 10013 on Sept 24th and at Jolopy at 315 Columbia Street in Brooklyn,NY 11231 on Sep 28th. Please help spread the word. Best Regards Jw firecracker jazz band
Thanks for your kind words. I dig your playing, sound, and contemporary spirit, as well. Are you in to Frank Glover's playing? I think you would dig his albums. Anyways, thanks for your comments about my clips...I keep changing my mind about which stuff to post...whatever. Cool.
