Stefano Matteucci:
Educated at the Conservatory of "Santa Cecilia" in Rome with Maestros M.Buffa (violin) G.Ravenna and M.Gambini (Cello). After several years of experience in Orchestra and Chamber music, he began to play also other kinds of music, like Jazz (with the well known singer Amalia Grè) and Rock (with many bands of the Roman underground). Then he started to sing and create his own music: Instrumental compositions and songs with Rock-Pop-Gothic and Classical influences. In this project called "D-EDGE" he plays cello and sings at the same time on stage and has reached the final stage at the Roma Music Festival and Marte Live Festival. He recorded for a tv show called "Talenz" which was aired on sky channel 906 and for "Rete Oro". He does gigs regularly in and around London, most recently gig at: Viva Viva restaurant/491 Gallery/The west end pub/Pumphouse Club/Cobden Club.

WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Various concerts in Italy and abroad with the S. Cecilia’s Orchestra. Budapest National Theatre: 2000 New Year’s Day concert with S. Cecilia’s Orchestra. Cellist in the “Roma Sinfonietta” Orchestra (2005-2006) “Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia” Fermo (2004-2005) Orchestra Regionale del Lazio and Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese (2003/2004) Concerts in pair, trio and quartet. Cello in jazz with the famous jazz singer Amalia Grè. Cello in rock in my own project in which I play and sing at the same time in my own compositions. I recorded for a tv show which was aired live on sky tv and Rete Oro channel.Gig with the “Wish Orchestra” at Oakengates Theatre in Telford (28-March-2009).
I’m working with the agency “Liquid Strings” for Christian Celebrations: gig at the David Lloyd Centre, London (10th May-2009) and at the cinema in Stratford on June 2009.
Gig with Trio Jazz at Royal Albert Hall (May 2009). AS SINGER: Several performances in Clubs with various bands of the roman underground: Rock-Pop genre. Musical Festival of Frascati (FRAGMENTS).
COLLABORATIONS: I recorded for the artist "Double Thumb", performed for "Amanda Bloom", performed at the Comedy Club for "Sylence Johnson", performed at the "Emergenza Festival" for the "Aura Noctis" band at the Bull & Gate and recorded in studio for several bands of the UK underground.

Not sure I am in London in those days (family reasons unfortunately, my sister is quite ill and I might go to Rome at the end of November and stay for a while).

Ciao Ste' ho visto che eri in linea ed ho approfittato per salutarti. Come procede la tua carriera musicale a Londra? Ed il progetto jazz in quartett? Qui a Lecce tutto ok, Giovanni ha superato l'esame di avvocato, meno male, dico ciò perchè per me ora è giunta l'estate ops, volevo dire le vacanze!!!! Ma almeno non ho perso l'allenamento a cantare visto che un pò di serate le ho fatte anche io in qurtett.. Ora ti abbraccio forte e, mi raccomando conserva sempre alto il nome anche a Londra..
