Born in Naples, his sound is heavily influenced by the mediterranean sea and all its musical shapes, mainly by pizzica and tammorriata, the 2 main traditional genres from the south of Italy

He has released his first album “Pista Connection” in 2000 for Virgin Music featuring some of the best alternative italian artists like 99Posse, 24 Grana...

In 2002 releases the second album “Flux” together with the famous manga singer Ilaria Graziano (Ghost in the Shell), getting major critics reviews. At the same time he kept doing remixes for the likes of Roy Paci, Dunkelbunt, Balkan Beat Box, Zion Train, Feelgood Productions... and productions for other bands (Nidi D’arac-S.Rocco’s Rave, V2, 2004).

In 2006 the launch of his own label called Glocalova releasing Glocalizm vol. 1 – Samples, traditionals & folk!”, a trip into the south italian music traditions collaborating with some of the best artists of the scene (Rosapaeda, Marcello Colasurdo, Lino Cannavacciuolo, Brunella Selo, Arakne Mediterranea, Ghetonìa, Avleddha), mixing their vibes with hip hop, dub and electro.

His dj sets are a mixture of world music and BASS with that traditional south italian flavour that defines his style.
From 2003 he’s running 2 different projects under the MADOX and RIVA STARR guises (breakbeat/electro project), releasing records for some of the biggest labels around (Fatboyslim's Southern Fried, Claude VOnstroke's Dirtybird etc...), heavily touring worldwide (Europe, Australia, Asia) and collaborating with big artists like John Acquaviva and Santos.
