About Steintryggur

Steintryggur is originally a duet between Sigtryggur Baldursson of Sugarcubes notoriety and Steingrimur Guðmundsson, who is one of iceland..s best kept sectets along with skyr. Their new cd, Trappa has been four years in the making and brings together performances that they recorded around the world with various collaborators. The mixture is then run through the poisonous blender of Australian audio terrorist Ben Frost to find something quite unusual yet oddly familar.
