When he was 12 years old, Stekel knew Vangelis' music, who is still considered your favorite artist and influences him in the style of some arrangements. Then, Stekel came to be based on music of Jean Michel Jarre, Kitaro, Yanni, Steve Roach, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, and others. The sacred songs of all religions are also strong influence on Stekel's music. In his album Galaktika Stekel sings in English and Old Hebrew. As the Stekel's work is very varied and depends on some unusual factors, such as protocol inspired by Channeling (in which depends the later arrangement), the codification of sacred words and other techniques, it sometimes can sound like: Nova and Peru (Dutch groups from the 80s), Steve Roach (with its unmistakable style), Jean Michel Jarre (in its initial phase), Vangelis, etc. Como o trabalho de Stekel é muito variado e depende de alguns fatores incomuns, como o protocolo inspirado por canalização (do qual depende o arranjo posterior), a codificação de palavras sagradas e outras técnicas, às vezes pode soar como: Nova e Peru (grupos holandeses da década de 1980), Steve Roach (com seu estilo inconfundível), Jean Michel Jarre (em sua fase inicial), Vangelis, etc.
BIOGRAPHY:Stekel was born in Santa Maria (Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil) in 25/08/1970. Son of musician, he began to sing (05 years old) and to play guitar (09 years old). He sang with his father for some years. But, feeling was not the regional style and popular music to his soul, suddenly interrupted this career, even in the beginning, around 15 years old. In fact, Stekel wanted to play keyboard, work with electronic music, especially New Age and Ambient Music. But, in the 80s, this was not easy something for a recent technology, expensive and even then little known in Brazil. From 1985 to 2005, Stekel turned to other areas: literature, journalism, ancient languages... But, never completely abandoned the interest in music, the "spiritual music," as he calls.
In 1991, he initiated a thorough search of music's relationship with Kabbalah, the mantras and codes for balancing subtle energy. But, this job was reserved for few persons and only appeared in book in 2003. In 2005, year that he lived in Brasilia (Brazil's Capital), Stekel participated in a choir, where he studied tenor singing and felt that this was the moment of turning all that searches done for 20 years in an "art-healing" or “relaxing entertainment" work. He thought of, little by little, combining various styles of electronic music (New Age, Ambient, Trance, Progressive, Relax, etc.) to two new concepts: the channeled music and the inspiration for the codification of the Hebrew Kabbalah mantras and also in other sacred languages (Latin, Sanskrit) to turne all in music. In the case of codified mantras, he uses the connections of sacred letters with musical notes of chromatic scale.
In 2006, Stekel began his first travel in this new style, producing the channeled music to the codified mantra "Qadosh" which gives title to his first album. This mantra has followed him since 1982. Over time, other songs were channeled and other codified mantras were being produced, generating from restricted audience that heard them the desire to see everything on an album. Stekel began producing channeled music and codifing names in music from the names of interested in having a personal music, either for own daily use, or to include it on websites and blogs. With the increasing demand for such music "tailor-made to each soul", Stekel began the project of the album "Qadosh" in 2008. The idea was to produce an album with various styles, but with two purposes: to entertain those who like electronic music in all styles; harmonizing energectly who seeks spiritual music purposely made to act so subtle in mind and the human soul. The album "Qadosh – Channeled Music & Codified Mantras" is now available for sale.
The album Galaktika - an internal space travel (2009) is his 2nd work in music. In its 14 tracks, Galaktika tells a story, the story of a character named Job, who like the biblical Job, faced with a dilemma: to overcome the suffering. But the Galaktika's Job wants to help humanity to overcome the suffering and chaos created by own humanity. Then, he goes on a journey through space, in fact, in an inner journey.

BIOGRAFIA:Stekel nasceu em Santa Maria (Rio Grande de Sul - Brasil), em 25/08/1970. Filho de músico, começou a cantar aos 05 anos e a tocar violão aos 09 anos. Cantou com seu pai durante alguns anos. Mas, sentindo não ser o estilo regional e popular a sua alma musical, interrompeu bruscamente esta carreira, ainda no início, por volta dos 15 anos. Stekel queria mesmo era tocar teclado, trabalhar com música eletrônica, em especial New Age Music e Ambient Music. Mas nos anos de 1980 isso não era coisa fácil para uma tecnologia recente, cara e até então pouco conhecida no Brasil. De 1985 a 2005, Stekel voltou-se para outras áreas: literatura, jornalismo, línguas antigas... Mas nunca abandonou totalmente o interesse pela música, pela "música espiritual", como ele chama.
Em 1991, iniciou uma pesquisa profunda das relações da música com a Cabala, com os mantras e com códigos sutis para reequilíbrio energético. Mas este trabalho ficou reservado a poucas pessoas, e só apareceu em livro em 2003. Em 2005, ano em que morou em Brasília (DF), Stekel participou de um coral, estudou canto tenor e sentiu que este era o momento de transformar tudo o que pesquisara por 20 anos em um trabalho "artístico-curativo" ou, então, de "entretenimento relaxante". Pensou em, aos poucos, aliar vários estilos da música eletrônica (New Age, Ambient, Trance, Progressive, Relax, etc.) a dois conceitos novos: o da música canalizada por inspiração e o da codificação de mantras hebraicos da Cabala e também de outras línguas sagradas (Latim, Sânscrito) em música. No caso dos mantras codificados, utilizaria as relações das letras sagradas com as notas musicais da escala cromática.
Em 2006, Stekel começou suas primeiras viagens neste novo estilo, produzindo a música canalizada para o mantra codificado "Qadosh", que dá título a seu primeiro álbum. Este mantra o acompanha desde 1982. Com o tempo, foram sendo canalizadas outras músicas e sendo produzidos outros mantras codificados, gerando de parte dos que ouviam estes trabalhos o desejo de ver tudo num álbum. Stekel começou a produzir música canalizada e a codificar nomes em música a partir do nome de interessados em ter uma música pessoal, seja para uso próprio no dia-a-dia, seja para incluir em sites e blogues. Com o aumento da procura por tais músicas "feitas sob medida para cada alma", Stekel iniciou o projeto do álbum "Qadosh" em 2008. A idéia era a produção de um álbum com estilos variados, mas com dois propósitos: entreter quem gosta de música eletrônica em todos os seus estilos; harmonizar energeticamente quem procura música espiritual feita propositalmente para agir de modo sutil na mente e na alma humana. O álbum "Qadosh - Música Canalizada & Mantras Codificados" já está disponível para venda.

Olá Stekel! Temos coisas em comum além da sonoridade espiritual, pois também fui gerado na Terra por um baixista! De certa forma segui os passos dele, pois o "meu instrumento" é o baixo... Mas como também trabalho com modos alternativos de composição a vida me colocou a disposição uma infinidade de instrumentos, os quais amo explora-los, mas sem um estudo teórico aprofundado... É o instinto musical... Isto me proporciona liberdade para reproduzir as sonoridades neste mundo da Ação. Atualmente utilizo mais de oito instrumentos de corda, dentre eles baixos, guitarras e violões, bandolin, sitar além de uma infinidade de percussão, muitas delas criadas por mim e pelos músicos que me acompanham em workshops e encontros principalmente de Yoga. É uma grande satisfação se seu amigo, grato pelo Add! E quem sabe a sincronia nos coloque pra tocar juntos algum dia... Grande abraço, PAZ, LUZ & SOM!
