Mike Rigler diggs deep in the crates and brings out a fine selection of brass and string samples which is homogenously combined with broken beats and the beautiful voice of Isabella Kaiser. „Midnight Rendezvous“ is the prolongation of the success of forties retro-chic in modern dance-music on a extra high level. Some may have recognized Mike Rigler's quite successful „Lovesick&Dirt EP“ on Etage Noir Special, a sublabel of Parov Stelar's Etage Noir, in 2008.
