quote of the day: ..As Wynton Marsalis said, and I'm paraphrasing - Blues is the roux to jazz's gumbo. You might have a good soup, and it might be killer, but if ain't got no roux, you ain't got no gumbo.
Another quote: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Lao-tzu, The Way of Lao-tzu
Chinese philosopher (604 BC - 531 BC)
I'm a slightly nomadic person :), I've been all around the world, but I've fallen in love with Seattle. I was born in the Phillipines, my sister was born in Guam, and my brother was born in Bermuda. I also visited Japan, and Hong Kong before I was 10! We moved to the States when I was around 12 or so.
I'm thinking currently about going on house hunting trips. My friends keep telling me that I need to settle down a little and find a house with space for my music equipment :). I'm starting to agree...
Although, my feet are starting to want to wander. Foreign lands are starting to call my name...
I've been where?
..Phil Stacey I Aint Missing You..
Phil dedicates his song to his Navy unit.
I would also like to dedicate the song to all my fellow sailors that i've known and loved.
I am missing you...
