I started making beats about six years ago under the name of Jeeves Blackfield, i make hip hop, jazz, house, drum n bass and all sorts of other shizzle. i was putting vocals over these beats laying down ideas at the start. I passed a cd onto mate of mine called Zero Tollerance. He was blown away by my incredible talent and modesty so we started making tracks and recording vocals. We've got a lot of tunes due for release in the coming year. Got an album coming out in late Febuary with my group The Infomatics, I emcee, make beats and do vocals in the band, so keep your eyes and ears open.

On Sunday December 9th 2007, Slick DJ magazine will launch the Irish Dance Music Awards and announce the nominees and categories to the general public in Spirit 57, Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1. On the night we'll have PHELA label boss PETE HELLER headlining. Pete has been a major player worldwide for almost 20 years now, building quite the reputable name from his 'Big Love' & 'Stylus Trouble' success. Over the coming weeks Slick DJ will be gathering as much information from the general public as possible to determine which categories and nominees are worthy of an award. Then, on the 27th of January 2008 we will host the awards ceremony and announce the winners of each category in Spirit 57 and the night will feature Layo & Bushwacka. More details soon...
