About Step Change

The quartet has been put together to explore original compositions and ideas in a modern jazz style. Their repertoire is made up mostly of original composition arrangements with additional pieces from Weather Report, Wayne Shorter and Michael Brecker etc. The band members have each come from differing backgrounds to provide a unique and exiting output. Their music ranges from melodic interpretation of their originals and chosen jazz standards moving towards total free form in other pieces.
