Neye Benziyor?I like to call what we do now "Impressionism". It's like a soundtrack, but of the contemporary world, with personal and world influences. The trick is to listen to our music while letting your imagination go. It is really like a soundtrack without the movie... The first album was more influenced by Django Reinhardt, but it's now really ecclectic, even if the flavor of the Gypsy soul in the guitars is still very present. Our Live performances are very intense, we reach the maximum level of energy possible, without sacrifying nuances and musicality. Each performance is very different, with a lot of jaming and improvisation, making each show a very different trip... The Universe is made of vibrations, and music is the most obvious, and in the same time subtle and abstract form of language we know. Music is not only what the ears perceive, but the whole body, and deeper than that, the Soul (essence, consciousness, call it how you want). Our goal is to reach with our crowed a transe like state, where only imagination, soul, harmony, beauty, intensity, space, and a loving and peaceful mind remain. "Here is my secret. It is very simple. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; What is essential is invisible to the eye." - Antoine de St Exupery

   Hakkımızda Stephane Wrembel
One could call Stephane Wrembel a Nomad, a Gypsy, a World Traveler, for the music he plays and his lifestyle are very expressive of the Gypsy way of life. Born in Paris, raised in Fontainebleau (home of impressionism, and of Django Reinhardt's music), classically trained starting at age four, Stephane's life took a decisive turn in his late teens when he first discovered Django's music, and the Gypsies. He spent ten years of his life learning, playing, and expanding this tradition. This very hard work gave him the technique, but the time spent playing around campfires and trailers gave him the soul. Both of these factors were necessary ingredients in order for him to master this art form. His life took a second turn when, after studying Contemporary Jazz, Indian, African and Middle Eastern music at Berklee School of Music, he moved to New York City. The unlimited amount of music and incredible musicians, and the jungle lifestyle, gave him an edge and set him in the direction he's taking now. Like New York, he's always in motion, always searching, never stopping in his quest for a new sound... Stephane’s new CD, “Terre des hommes”, was recorded with his new trio featuring Ari Folman Cohen on bass and Julien Augier on percussions. If you love Django, African grooves, Middle Eastern colors, or Indian moods, and all that played with a breathtaking level of energy, you'll love Stephane Wrembel's music...
