Every interaction I have ever had, heard of or imagined......but for the purposes of the tape....Meta, Son Capson, Simon Lovatt in general, Roger - beautiful company, good tea and great vinyl = one hell of a muse. Aband! all of you guys are amazing to work with....especially Mr Bannon - your bass makes my stomach dance!!! Heal the Last Stand, Diane Cluck, St.Vincent, Love, Sufjan stevens, too much reggae, Kaki King....Oh Oh Karen O - i think we can all agree that her mouth is inspiration enough... Blondie, Areatha Franklin, Emiliana Torrini, Jefferson Airplane, Nina Simone, Patti Smith (goddess), PJ Harvey's early work, Regina Spektor, Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, Josephine Foster, Ani DiFranco, Ember (for inspiring the music to 'Magpies'), Jeffery Lewis, Tori Amos, Billie Holiday for breaking my heart, good people....and the rhythm behind every word....oh oh and you know that weird drum and bass like noise the train makes...that...definately that!
