About me:
My name is Zoe Rose. I'm the girl on the cover of that book you're looking at. But that's not my real hair. I don't want to go into it but you can read all about me when the book comes out the end of October. Stephanie Lessing is the author. If you can't wait, you can pre-order on www.amazon.com. In the meantime, there are a few things you should know about me before you buy the book: I'm short. I'm neurotic. I'm afraid of children and I hate Republicans. And I have like the most enormous chest ever--- because I'm pregnant. But I don't know that yet.

Authors on the Rise will be working with three top notch Ski Resorts to set up a mass signing event of authors. If you would be interested in having us represent you for this event the fee is $35.00/author. If you are interested in trying to get in a bookstore while you're there the cost will be $60/author. You will not be charged until final arrangements are made and you are able to make the date(s) set. The Deadline To Register is January 7th If you wish to participate please contact: marlenekent@authorsontherise.com This fee covers preparation costs of setting you up as an author on our list of willing participants. We will provide to the resort your bio and book information and be your point of contact regarding all matters of the signing. We are running three writing competitions, Flash Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction and Poetry, all with the theme 'City Smells. The winners of each of these competitions will win $100. But more than this, we will take the best work from each competition and compile a paperback 'City Smells' anthology. The writers who make it into the 'City Smells' anthology will each receive free copies of the book and be paid a royalty in book sales. To submit to these competition and stand a chance of being published in the 'City Smells' book you must be a member of Edit Red, as the submission process is automated. Joining Edit Red and entering these competitions is 100% free. If you make it into the book, we will pay royalties based on book sales.
