Stephanie Light is a 16 year old singer/songwriter/pianist/guitarist/etc. who performs live with flautist Victoria Teixeira. Together they make an incredible sound of music, and produce a wonderful show.
Stephanie Light has released her first CD, “The Way You Live.” The twelve song CD, was produced at Telekon Studios in Carefree (features flautist Victoria Teixeira on the song "Without You"). Music and lyrics were composed by Stephanie, who plays the acoustic guitar, piano, violin, some percussion, and also provides the backup vocals. She arranged the percussion, acoustic guitar electric guitar, trombone, flute, clarinet and mandolin music that is part of the CD. Stephanie is a junior in High School and will graduate in 2010.
It is not everyday that you get to feel the exact emotions of another person. Listening to the music of Stephanie leaves these sensations. Her passion, emotion, and feelings are evident providing a strong connection to her audience. It is the connection that Light thrives on. Her writing is based on emotions and experiences that people will easily relate to. Artists such as The Beatles, John Mayer, Natasha Bedingfield, Bjork, and a variety of others, across diverse genres, heavily influence her sound. Stephanie hopes that she will be able to inspire someone through her music that is spurred by something as simple as a strange noise, or an unusual desert.
Stephanie Light lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, and plays shows at local spots throughout the valley, including every Sunday morning at North Ridge Church. Recent shows include the Cave Creek Arts Festival (CD song “Willow Tree” winner for original song), opener for Chris Sligh (American Idol 4th place finalist in the Jordan Spark’s season) and numerous appearances for the Arizona Chicks With Picks organization, including playing at a Chicks with Picks Festival featuring Michelle Branch. She released her CD at a concert at North Ridge Church on December 19. She has been performing her own, original music for about five years, and would like to significantly expand her fan base. Her music was selected for the independent movie, “References,” that releases February 5, 2009 at AMC Tempe Marketplace. Stephanie enjoys playing at new venues, and meeting great people and musicians.

are you excited for addy to move?i wasnt for keifer but i guess yesterday he went to go visit and refused to back to the 2s and stayed with sharen the hole day! i think addy will do fine because she is very sassy so the bigger kids wont pick on her:)she moves monday? you gonna be able to help her out? did you ever start on them online survey things i told you about? i hope you did, i just another check, this was for $237 from 2 weeks ago. if you didn't yet, pshhh, get on it; i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is again:
