Sounds Like
As a writer, I am more interested in creating a sort of blank slate for the artist to put life in to. I suppose there's a little Sheryl going on in the mix, with some country flavor.
Friends! Thanks for peaking in to check out my material! I have been writing since childhood and it continues to be my passion. As a Christian, first and foremost, though, I realize that it is just a vessel for me to do more significant things in his name. In heart and in deed, I believe in spreading the word on Rachel’s Ministry, St. Jude, Make A Wish and Habitat for Humanity. Also, as I have been both significantly blessed and challenged by what the experts call "Attention-Deficit/ HyperactiveDisorder": I am not a fan of the acronym AD/HD, by they way, but, do appreciate the WEALTH of information that has been discovered in the area of AD/HD research. This being said, a significant part of my life’s mission/passion is to plant a seed to create a new way of defining these often, very creative/insightful individuals. More so, it is a true desire of mine to live in a world that acknowledges an interdependance amongst the linear and non-linear folks. As there is still much controversy surrounding AD/HD, one thing is for certain, I do not believe that it is in line with our Civil Liberties/Constitutional Rights to allow only a certain segment of the population to thrive in our Country. So I invite you to partake in the, September 19th 2007, 4th annual Senate-Appointed AD/HD Awareness and Education Day. In the spirit of the Non-Linears and Linears coming together as one, I am posting the lyrics to a song I wrote in 2001, inspired by the obvious turn of events that Fall, however, it seems to fit the above-mentioned theme. Enjoy. Tell Oprah.
WHEN WE ARE ONE Copyright 2001
So many times people run away
When little things go wrong
They turn their back on one another
Refuse to get along
But, If it was up to me
Here’s how it should be
If we’re gonna be strong
We’ve got to face our fears, loud and clear
To break a new Dawn
Where we are one
Where we are free
To share a little love with one another
That’s how it’s got to be
When we are one
When we are free
To lessen the load of our sisters and brothers
For a brand new heart beat
Screamin and shoutin ain’t what it’s all about
It’ll make a heart grow cold
But a tender word, loves to be heard
By both young and old
We better count our blessings, start confessin
We need a hand to hold
Grab on to mine and you will find
The truth will be gold
When we are one
When we are free
To share a little love with one another
That’s how it’s got to be
When we are one
We will be free
To lessen the load of our sisters and brothers
For a brand new heart beat
Bridge
Sometimes all we have to do to believe
Is pick our hearts up, dust them off
And place them on our sleeves
Then everyone
Will be free
To share a little love with one another
That’s how it’s got to be
When everyone
Knows it’s free (Don’t cost a thing)
To lessen the load of our sisters and brothers
For a brand new heart beat
When we are one
We will be free
When we are one
(Softly- We will have won)

Happy Birthday, Stephie! Thinking of you as you turn . . . can it be? 40! I hope you're doing some very special things to honor this birthday. I'm gearing up for mine in just over a month.
Sorry for the lapse in communication. I'm not so consistent anymore. Brian and I hope you are well! We love you, friend.
Happy Birthday, Cuzzy!!! Congratulations on all that you have accomplished in your life, thus far...such as your selfless ways, being an amazing cousin and friend...writing some super cool lyrics...standing out as a Christian role model...lending a hand to anyone who needs it...and making handsprings on the crowded sidewalks of NYC seem effortless... Keep "LuluDo"ing your way through life! God Bless Your Sweet Heart! Love, Dawn

Hey Stephanie, How are things going? You are still in my thoughts and prayers.
By casting your cares upon God, you allow Him to do His will. Please know that no need is too great for our God "who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." (Ephesians 3:20)
Things are going very well for me. Work has been busy but God has been blessing us left and right! It feels good when you know that you are doing what God wants you to do!!! Other than working....I have just be enjoying the warmer weather and glad that winter is over! :) Hope all is well with you!
Hey girl!!!!! I've missed talking to you!! Jeff and I were thinking that we would do a NY/Boston trip, since none of the girls are going to be able to do the whole Boston thing. I thought that it was a great idea. But hey Jeff and I want to at least come out there and see you and make a date with ya!!! Well I will keep in touch with you and the updates. I hear that you are doing great out there. Take care and talk to you soon!! Give me a ring on my phone.
