Stephan Jacobs previously known as "Square-1" is no rookie at the music game, rocking venues from Hollywood to Tel Aviv for the last 8 years. His veteran DJ'ing and Producing skills are undeniable when he drops his innovative and bleeding interpretation of Dubstep, Minimal and Electro. His reputation precedes him in the underground where he unearths his bass-driven sounds at the notorious Space Island and Cre8tivity in LA, and hypnotizes crowds at festivals like Burning Man and the Electric Daisy Carnival. The Mainstream venues were not slow to catch on to his progressive style--his mind-altering sounds have broken ground at the famous Avalon in Hollywood and Coachella--even a few radio stations are giving props to this innovative new sound.
In 2006, Stephan Jacobs and Tim Hauser (Ruff Hauser) teamed up to form Kether. Their mutual passions for music fueled their ambitions to build a unique live experience that has beckoned enthusiastic followers after the first listen. They quickly established their place on the forefront of the West Coast Electronic scene, playing alongside Shpongle, Tipper and Glitch Mob. Getting signed with Muti Music, the leading North American Electronic music label, was the logical next step. Watch out for the dopest duo and Stephan on his own as he is steadily in the studio creating Bass heavy beats.
