My first influence was Hank Marvin and the Shadows. Since then I have been inspired by all sorts of players and styles. Some favorite guitarists are; Wes Montgomery, Albert Lee, Amos Garret, Django Reinhardt, David T Walker, Paul Kossoff, Jeff Beck , Jimi Hendrix and Pat Metheny.
In the video below I am jamming with Jackie Orszaczky in 2005. Jackie passed away early 2008.
Back in the Mid 70's, touring together in Australia, he explained how music theory works and encouraged me to play outside the box. Jackie is a major influence.
