life, the universe, and everything. seriously. and people. why can't we all just treat each other right, anyway? oh, and when i can find time, i really enjoy basketball and bowling.
Music
makes the world a better place. you don't even want me to start listing artists i enjoy...you'll be reading for weeks.
Movies
should entertain. make me laugh and we're set, otherwise you better have a damn good story lined up. oldboy is a great example.
Television
is the devil. however there are some good things to laugh at or learn from on there, such as the simpsons, old family guy, aqua teen, and mythbusters.
Books
are something i'd fallen out of touch with until just recently. currently interested in anything relating to any kind of religion and spirituality. ishmael.
Heroes
my dad, who foresaw the futures of computers early on and fought my mom tooth and nail when i was very, very young so he could buy me an $1,100 Mac Plus. little did he know what he started. and kurt vonnegut, not only for his writings, but for the amazing person he was (and never deviated from).
About me: hey all. still overloaded. set a wedding date and picked a place (may 17, 2008, the stone barn in kennett square), trying to starting this year's garden, and of course always trying to get ahead with work. i promise, i respond to every message i get when i catch a little time - when i do get time to check in it's nice to see i still have friends :)
writing an 'about me' is hard, and boring. i already know about me, and have absolutely no idea what you want to know. i like everything...life is truly wonderful, and i plan to enjoy it while i'm here. so i do. i'm a firm believer that you should treat everyone with respect - at least until they prove without a doubt that they don't deserve it. racism, sexism, classism...pretty much anything that involves putting one person above another...i have no interest in these things. after all, we're all just people, when you get right down to it.
i prefer to be outdoors, though my job forces me to be inside a lot. i love my job, and what i do is a passion of mine, so i can't complain. i just make up for it in my free time, with gardening, camping, and basketball.
one thing i'm great at is finding random shit online. i send so many links to so many people throughout the day, that my best friend and i finally buckled and started a blog full of random shit - zoomer blog
sure...it's a little early, but E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!
once upon a time, i was the youngest person in the world to be certified as a Team USA bowling coach. impressive? eh...not really depends who you ask.
visit Sideways Thinking (my personal site) ok, my site needs to be updated. so in the meantime, read about my life on my blog (also not often updated [grin])
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
Who I'd like to meet:
artists, of any medium (be they visual, auditory, or otherwise). also people in other countries, which by the transitive property (assuming meet means in person), implies that i'd like to travel more.
Damn, it kinda sucks when you only get on myspace once a month...how the hell am I supposed to say, hey, and catch up after 10 years??? Hope life is good.
That's funny. I was just telling my girlfriend the other day about the epic man-hunt games in princeton. I subsequently searched to see if you had a myspace page. (and yes, I did feel warm and tingley)
