I am many things Docere', builder, father, friend and fellow journeyman yet in my heart has always been the artist/musician, "I just thought having a good day job was important". Now I don't know what that means! I am currently focusing on writing songs and playing. I have to admit playing sure is easier then workin'.
I've been playing music since I first saw The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. I originally played a drum pad, graduated to trombone (my brothers hand me down) which I traded in for an electric guitar. Many guitars later I've always had something to keep me company, not always someone which is what a lot of my music is about filling the gaps of existance, shedding light on the darkness, keeping company with the joy of music. When I'm laid to rest leave with me a guitar, any old thing will be OK, I'll fix it up and make it sing!
New CD "Will Play For Money And Food" is now available through CDBaby.
Hey Steve, Love your new song ,"A Picture of Jesus." Thanks for coming by and seeing us at First Night. Too bad the PA was so sucky. Our vocals are are what we are all about. That's one of the joys of music I suppose. Anyway, good luck with your new CD. C-Ya- Chuck
