Thanks for dropping in! I'm Stephen Clark...TV News anchor by night and songwriter by later at night. I look at song writing as an extension of journalism...I have to tell a compelling story in an interesting way. Fortunately in my songs the body count is usually lower!
I play my songs fairly frequently at venues across the greater Detroit area. I suspect people stop by for the same reason they slow down at car wrecks...but generally they leave pleasantly surprised. I had one guy once tell me "Hey! You don't suck". I get all teary-eyed just thinking about it.

Great music Stephen, it's awesome how you can be the straightman on Channel 7 and have this whole different side of you, it's great! The music really is awesome with just you and the guitar, most people aren't that good with bands and being dubbed, I know I'm NOT! All people want to hear from me is how's the pressure, are you enjoying yourself, and when I have time to do some comedy a lot of jokes lol! Good luck with your music career, maybe this will be your retirement plan and we can all just say we knew Stephen when he read the news in Detroit!
