From the moment you hear the voice, you know it: powerful and distinct, soulful and passionate, a voice that could belong to no one else.
Stephen Salyers was born on January 24, 1983 in the small town of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, which sits directly on the US 23 Country Music Highway. Salyers began performing at the young age of 12, playing the fair & festival circuit, civic league events and talent competitions. He is a past winner of the West Virginia State Colgate Country Showdown and has opened for elite artists like Ronnie Milsap, The Doobie Brothers and Wynonna.
The singer/songwriter moved to Nashville, Tennessee in January 2005 and landed a spot in the cast of Tanya Tucker's TLC series "Tuckerville" in August 2005. Stephen recently performed for Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear's Inaugural Ball and entertained the US Army Rangers Mountain Ranger Open House in Dahlonega, Georgia. The US Army Reserve tapped Salyers from a list of 40 candidates to serve as an Honorary member of the Golden Knights. He joined the the Golden Knights Parachute Team in May for his skydive at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
As a philanthropist, Salyers remains devoted to giving back to a number of charitable organizations including: Billy Ray Cyrus Charities Foundation, CASA, River Cities Food Harvest Drive, Ronald McDonald House and Musicians On Call. Through his charitable endeavors, as a musician, Salyers has been honored as a Hometown VIP by The Independent newspaper; a Kentucky Colonel by past Governor of Kentucky, Paul Patton; the Key to the City of Ashland, Kentucky by past Mayor, Steve Gilmore and with a special citation presented by the Kentucky State House of Representatives.

I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:
Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.
Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka
Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.

My Christmas Album "Smile" is NOW AVAILABLE! I made my own record from the artwork and all the music/vocal recording to writing 5 of the 8 songs, and it all was made from my bedroom in LA. The last track "Angels" I wrote for my Uncle Gary who was my biggest fan and passed away this year. iTunes took forever, so for now you can buy it on "My Stuff" tab on Facebook, or on my MySpace page off the "Bandbox". Happy Holidays!
