Stephen Shannon is an independent producer/musician based in Dublin, Ireland.
He is a member of post rock/electronic act Halfset who are currently completing their second studio album in the depths of a Dublin studio. It is due for release later this year.
Recently, Steve has been busy working on various soundtracks for independent films. Productions include "Skin Deep" (MINT), "Fight Or Flight" (Good Dog Films) and currently - "Saviours" (Street Films).
Compositionally, Steve is predominantly interested in combining electronic influences with classical instruments such as vibraphones, strings and harp to name a few.
In 2006, Steve set up a recording studio - Experimental Audio - a purpose-built space to be creative and focus on various projects including many of the more eclectic bands and artists in Ireland at present.
The songs here are selected electronic works from late last year, some of which have been used in documentaries and film productions. The song selection will be updated shortly to feature more recent work.
Just to let any Respectable Criminal fans out there know that the CD featuring the song 'Rebel among Rebels' is available online at iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Juno, Walmart and DanceFuel

About Kaneel's music:
I’ve Sketched It A While Ago is French musician Guillaume Richard’s first commercial release, and we’re proud at Apegenine to debute another great talent.
It would be easy to dub this release ‘ IDM’, but just as Kaneel’s been showing in the netlabel scene for years now, his music is much more than drills and bass. Under the overlaying fuss of glitches and hectic beatwork, Kaneel’s subtle music sinks into nostalgia and tenderness with his explorations into pop melodies. ‘Naïve’ is a term often used to describe Guillaume’s tracks; unstable and ecclectic yet dreamy and welcoming, the result is a sometimes chaotic feud of cuteness and destruction and other times, anthems to blowing bubbles and inspecting clouds.
Always on the move, Guillaume has recently expanded his vision by seting up the petite&jolie netlabel alongside friend Maxime Lethelier, searching and releasing naive/cute music from all around the
I really appreciate your friendship and support. So this is my way of showing you love. Do visit again if you have already and if you haven't, do come over and listen to the new tracks. Do let me know what's good with you.
