  • Bio

My name is C Bret Campbell, My musical project was dubbed "Stephenson Rd" six years ago, when a name was needed quickly for a radio show I was participationg in. Based in Coffee Co. south of Nashville, Tn, I work out of a converted barn at the foot of the Highland Rim. I play multiple instruments, and am honored to have many friends that I enjoy collaborating with, such as: "Blue" Blake Weibert from Memphis, Jamie "Uncle Ted" Neal of Murfreesboro, Stephen Clower, Louis Bahor in Atlanta, Kevin Cottrell, Dana Dupuis, and Freedom and Elizabeth Campbell. Recently, I have been working with Dan Wright and Tyler Anderson. My influences literaly span the alphabet. I enjoy country, rock, jazz, gosppel, blues, pop, reggae, salsa, hip hop, bluegrass, alternative, punk, funk, big-band, swing, metal, 50's, 60's, 70's, and on and on. Current shows are of an acoustic Singer-songwriter nature. I play favorite original songs and a selection of popular songs that range as far back as 300 years. I currently handle everything in house. Based in the Small Barn Sound studio, and am liable to take a song in any off the wall direction that strikes my fancy and I love to push my little stack of toys to the limit every chance I get! I hope you enjoy! And join the mailing list to keep up with the latest information on up-coming shows!
