    Stephen Souza "The Reggae Gentleman" It was Ken Williams of WVIP NY Radio 93.5FM who first referred to Stephen Souza as the "Reggae Gentleman." Stephen,was born in England, grew up in Manchester, Jamaica, WI where he started his musical career as the lead singer of his high school band "Phase II". The band, Phase II opened for top recording artists such as Yellowman, Third World and Chalice. While pursuing a degree in the United States that Stephen seized the opportunity to improve his singing and writing skills by providing background vocals on numerous recordings for example Danny Dread, "Respect Due." Performing with such greats as Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Freddie McGregor, Beenie Man, Elephant Man and Sean Paul; Stephen has never forgotten his roots for the past four years he lent his time and talent to the Portland Curry Festival in Jamaica, a fund raising event for under privileged children in Portland. Managed now by Request It Again Music, 2 #1 singles so far this year "Is There A Place, and "Sounds Explosion," Stephen is busy promoting and looking forward to the release of his new single "That Is How Much".
