My Name is Stephen C and Stephen's Witness is my musical testimony to the gift of each present moment. My hope is that these songs will inspire you to truly experience the many wonders and mysteries of life. Life is a precious gift. Let's open it together and share it.
I began my musical journey at 6 years old, when I first started playing the guitar. Soon after, I discovered an ability to plug into the essence of life and connect with the world around me and within me through the songs I write.
Over the years I have had the privilege of performing, writing and recording music with many unique and talented people. The contribution of these friends who I have shared my musical voyage with added greatly to my songwriting and performance style and ability. I am eternally grateful for the inspiration and support they have given me. Some of these friends still find their way into my songs through co-writing and studio performances.
Creating music with so many talented people has provided an opportunity for me to grow as a musician and expand my horizons. In addition to guitar I now sing, play bass guitar, keyboards, harmonica, banjo, mandolin and percussion. Out of necessity, I have also acquired a basic knowledge of recording and producing.
Some of my previous musical projects have included writing, recording, and touring with Psyco Circus, The ShaggDaddies, The Stephen Craig Band, and now Stephen's Witness.
The musical styles of these bands range from heavy metal, rock n' roll, country, bluegrass, pop, blues, folk, jazz and experimental.
I am originally from Chicago, although I have spent long periods of time in Ohio and Nashville in pursuit of my dreams. Although I now live in Wisconsin, these towns welcomed my music with enthusiasm and they will always hold a special place in my heart.
I am a Youth and Family Minister in Schofield, Wisconsin. This provides many opportunities for me to share the gift of music which I have been given with others. I believe we are all given various gifts and talents in order to encourage and support the people who we meet on life's path.
May you find peace, joy, hope, inspiration, strength, comfort, and meaning in these songs. Know you are loved and created with a purpose. No soul is an accident. The world needs you. Always remember this.

I am taking composition two, creative writing, and astronomy. My finals are the week of christmas, and the semester won't be starting until the end of january. :DD im excited for astronomy!!!!!!!!
