My name is Stephen Trohoske, I'm a Bassist living in Erie, P.A. I've been playing professionally for about 19yrs. In that time I've had the pleasure to perform with many national & international acts as well as many of my local friends & musicians. I been leading a jazz trio called 3bop for the last 10yrs.in between tons of other projects, besides myself on Bass the band also consists of Frank Singer on Guitar with whom i studied Bass & Music theory, and Brad Amidon an extreamly accomplished Drummer. I really feel i play with the most versatile & talented players in town. I also had the pleasure of playing&studying with Bass guru Dwayne Dolphin with whom i learned A great deal about my instrument & the buisness.Locally besides 3bop, some of the other projects i've done include:SoulClap(Original Soul) The Moronic Regiem(PUNK ROCK),Monster on a Leash(13pc. swing band), LED PoP Exchange(indie pop rock), The Gem City All Stars(Erie all star cast),Torn Curtain, Midnight Love (Marvin Gaye tribute band), Is What ItIs(Improv Funk),String Thing Sextet(Bass,Piccolo Bass,Guitar,8 String Guitar),Collective Voices Trio, & The Raven Band just to name a few. Some of the great local talent i've had the honor to work with include: Frank Singer, Brad Amidon,Preach Freedom, Scotty Cravener,Mary Alice Brown,Trevor Huster,Ron Sutton,Basil Ronzitti,Joe Popp,Joel Poloci,Katie Chriest, Sheldon Peterson,Allen Zurcher,Rick Cass,Charles Ventrello,Randy Hethrington,Eric Brewer,Mike Ohm,Doug Dressler Big band & Dan Halett, just to name a few. I am currently working on a new project,"Ahimsa Beat" A mix of Trance,Funk,Techno & Heavy Expiramental Grooves.

I have played concerts &clinics in North America, Canada & parts of Central America.I am also Studied & Perform Massge therapy, and certain aspects of shiatsu & reflexologyin Erie Pa. I have the most wonderful, beautiful wife, a 5yr. old stepson & my Beautiful baby daughter Milla.
